That's a great example.
I remember a scene while Saban was at LSU and one of the safeties blew a play and Saban was in his ear with the camera on him....the camera came back a few minutes later and Saban was still going on and on. That was excessive, I know, and Saban has the luxury of having quality depth so that benching a starter for poor play isn't the end of the world, but he didn't always have that level of talent and he grew the intensity of his team to reflect the level of commitment it takes to win.

I don't think most of the players on BYU's team are that committed to winning. I think that many of them are more interested in playing, having fun, getting an education and moving into a good life. The number who are truly focused on playing at the level it takes to get to the NFL is very, very small at BYU these days.
