Replying to my original post because I don't feel like responding to each one individually.

I still believe there is a difference between a "true" fan (someone with a deep connection to a team), and someone who just started rooting for the team just for fun (even if it is a good reason). We all know whats like. I'm talking sincerity here. You are more invested in a team if you have a legit reason to root for them. I care about Denver sports because I take pride in my city. I care about BYU sports because I care about the university I graduated from. Thats the point I'm trying to make here. In all honesty we do tend to judge how much of a "fan" a person is from time to time, whether we admit like to admit it on CB or not.
