i will say that its sad when people cant get behind the team where they live
I think people can block themselves off socially from coworkers neighbors and friends in the area where they live by rooting for teams from out of state. The few years where the seahawks were the best team in the NFL was a magical cultural experience around here. I had some bronco and steeler die hard coworkers that just couldn't partake in the festivities and the fun of it all and I think it cost them friends and mutual experience and good times. And when their team does well they don't have people to be excited with. They will go to broncos bars or steelers bars that they have to travel to get to. I don't blame them... you love the team you love and everybodys got their reasons...but i feel bad for them. If you are going to live forever in an area might as well at least lighten up about the hometown team and don't isolate yourself.
