With 7 Big10 teams going down to unranked OOC opponents, combined with SDSU, Fresno and Nevada each taking W's over Pac12 opponents and UNT's stunner over Arkansas, it was a wild night in college football. But, by far, the BYU W was the biggest of the day! Canada's heroics and your ability to stop Hornibrook were the keys to the Cougs' first W over a ranked team since 2006. It should get you votes in the Top 25 and you might even be ranked when the AP is released later today.
It's just too bad that my Frogs couldn't duplicate the effort by beating Ohio State. We had that game, but some boneheaded mistakes in the third quarter cost us. In any event, just like the Frogs bounced back from a 4-8 season in 2013, it appears that BYU is going to bounce back from your bad season last year. Occasional bad seasons are to be expected, but strong programs always bounce back. Congrats on the W!
