bases as well. These don’t boo their team. They also don’t boo opposing teams. They boo dirty plays and sometimes horrible calls.

BYU isn’t the worst I’ve seen. It’s a mix. I have (gratefully) a very intelligent guy behind me this season who can confirm the lesser know rules (eg. you can’t advance a muffed punt, illegal touching) or which judgement calls are good or at least consistent (eg. holding, PI). It usually just takes one more voice of reason for your immediate section.

But I had also had a guy who came back to talk crap to the very appropriate and nice Cal fans sitting behind me. Said “Good luck in your crappy conference” or something like that. I said, “Id love to get BYU into your crappy conference. Can you put in a good word?”
