The genius of how Kalani iced the kicker.
BYU had all 3 timeouts left, but Sitake only used 2 of them. By using exactly 2, not one and not all 3, he played the ultimate mind game (for that situation) with the Wisconsin PK.

I'm sure most kickers have gotten used to one timeout being called before big kicks. When Sitake called the second it created a different situation he wasn't as prepared for.

That second timeout also got him thinking about the third timeout. Therefore, the entire time he is waiting for the snap and hold after the second timeout, he is not 100% certain this is going to be it. In the back of his mind, he is thinking about that third timeout. He is not able to be 100% focused on the kick.

Anything less than 100% focus automatically increases the odds that he misses the kick. It was a brilliant move by Sitake.

Absolute genius.
