and they take a lot of LDS players. They will likely do much worse with a new coach and not having an LDS and Utah connected head coach will help BYU in head to head recruiting quite a bit. BYU also may start beating them and they will become Oregon State. The only Pac 12 recruiting advantage Utah has is to LDS players who want to play in P5 conference. Losing their LDS coach minimizes that a bit. Besides that they are going to be one of the last choices for Pac 12 recruits.
