It’s driven by the irrational and unfounded praise on the kid.
If all the Church of Tanner Mangum of Latter Day Saints members would stop pretending like he’s doing so great, you wouldn’t see so many haters.
He’s a great kid. He is not a good QB. A win at Wisconsin doesn’t make him a qb. A win at Wisconsin is more about efficient coaching to make up for the lack of any star athletes on the team.
