“In the NCWA, which is our club division, you have to be affiliated with a school. In our case that's Division 1 BYU. Wrestlers can still compete in open tournaments (tournaments for anybody of any skill level beyond highschool) but there are only a couple of those in the area throughout the year.

It's sad because we used to be an NCAA D1 top 10 team every year before the 2000s. And we fought hard to even be a self funded club team for the past 5 years, and now they are eliminated again.
