I believe it is this simple
Go uptempo (saw that in the 2nd half today), caused issues for McNeese state and it showed. Couldn't rotate defensive players
Involve TE and WR on crossing routes
Involve RB in routes as well
Need WR to catch the ball, so going underneath often will help them with confidence catching the football.
Tanner 2nd best TD toss was today to Shumway. Best of the season, pass to TE Bushman. That is what is needed, shorter vertical routes, which is within Tanner reach.
Those simple things, brings huge confidence that attacking past 15 yards could yield better results.
But, WR have to catch the balls!!!!!!!!!!
