Wilson is the future, then that's the singular reason he should start
I think Tanner is a good QB, or good enough QB. But Wilson being the 1.5 string quarterback means we need to see him start guiding this team now. Kalani, at best, has to use everything Wilson's got to win our tough 2019 and even tougher 2020 schedule.
At worst, he needs to salvage his HC job by showing a spark of life in this team.

I agree that coaching is a huge problem... but the worst of coaches can’t hold some players back. Think Baker Mayfield
