Notice how certain stats were not included like...

passing efficiency rating. Tanner throws a lot of passes that accomplish absolutely nothing. He does it because it is safe. To be a good QB requires taking risks. Good and great QB's are able to overcome the mistakes that result from risks, which is why Tanner doesn't take them.

He is #109 in PER, which is a composite rating of all of those stats. He is subpar.
