You could argue that some of those results are direct result of talent around him and offensive scheme. I think Tanner is better than the numbers indicate as a result. Because of that I wouldn't be mad if they stuck with him in the Hawaii game.
However, one glaring weakness of this offense is the lack of long ball (which contributes to Tanner's overall sub-par numbers) and that is an area that Wilson would hopefully help us in compared to Tanner. If I were the one making the decision I would lean towards starting Wilson because of that single fact.
