You think there's something benevolent about your fandom. Fans decide how they want to cheer for their team. People react differently to how their team is playing. Some players hate losing, some it doesn't bother. Some fans can't stand too see their favorite team get beat, other's don't care nearly as much. I wish I could be the fan that losing didn't bother, but I'm not built that way.
