I never said he should have scrambled to the left. He shouldn't have left the
pocket. It was a 3 man rush that was no where near to causing him problems. Had he stayed in the pocket and gone through his reads he would have seen Katoa. And what's more, he should have recognized pre snap that the db was playing really deep off Katoa. He went at least 10 yards deep. He should have read the defense and known that was going to be an option. But not once did he look that way. That's a terrible 5th year senior qb.

You could do this on most plays. Tanner struggles to see guys open all the time. Has for 2 seasons now.
