fears can backfire and make them more afraid and stressed. I’m terrified of bees. If someone put me in a room full of bees it definitely freak out and be more afraid of bees. Get me around one bee at a safe distance and slowly add more at a closer distance, I’m more likely to be less afraid. As it is now the only exposure I’ve had is they’re always flying around me scaring me and I have never got over being afraid.
