Are scared it’s either fight or flight. Flight wasn’t working so his only choice was fight. Do we know if he was cured-nope maybe after that he avoided going anywhere near any more roosters and is more scared. It may well work on some kids, or people but not for others.
I think it’s far more effective to make it a positive stress free experience, and slowly desensitize them. Then they won’t have a fight or flight response, but they won’t just avoid it either, they’ll just not be afraid around whatever it is because it was a positive experience rather than negative.
