If we had not played Wilson and the KS and staff kept TM starting I think there is a real possiblity we lose him.  He is a Utah kid, he has known the staff, has ties through extend family that go all through Utah.  I can imagine there would be frustration with the coaching staff given the reports of Wilson outplaying TM in the preseason then continuing to play TM despite little offensive success (I know it is not all on TM).

I know Utah is not an offensive juggernaut and has their own issues, but if there was uncertainty with BYU's coaching staff, lack of opportunity and the opportunity to go to his childhood school it could have been enticing.  I really believe we dodged a bullet or this would have been an interesting time as I could have seen him contemplate leaving.
