We released 90 little turtles from the sand and watched them flap their way into the waves and get washed into the ocean.

It was all warm and fuzzy with little kids in turtle heaven...until the pelicans came and started snatching all of the little turtles up into the air and eating them. Mass hysteria ensued. Women and children in tears. Screams of horror as little turtles are eaten alive. Didn’t quite go the way the turtle rescuers envisioned it.
