I wouldn't pay for it or take it back. You didn't ask for it, so why should you
have to pay for it? Restaurants make mistakes and they deal with that loss. You shouldn't have to pay for something you didn't ask for, either with money or with the time it takes to return something they are just going to throw away anyway.
