I agree....not a good idea and especially for athletes. If you have a dream to

play beyond college.  Your odds go way down getting married.  Marriage is great don't get me wrong, but your spouse will have different dreams they want together and not just your own dream.  Marriage also requires a ton of work.  Most NCAA athletes are at the gym practicing, training, and conditioning if they aren't in school.  The BYU kids that get married are doing the bare minimum in the gym because they know they have a wife to get home to.  

In college I would play pick up basketball at least once a day if not twice.  Once I got married it went down to once or twice a week and with kids its maybe once a month.
