...lived the busy life of a full-time student trying to fit life, marriage, work, etc all in a semester. There were some major issues going on with the girl I married and 3 days before Christmas she decided to pack up and move home. It wasn't a bitter or nasty ordeal like Nick went through but a painful empty experience nonetheless. I sat home alone in my apartment, didn't go to classes, didn't go to work, lost 25 lbs (back when I didn't have it to lose).

I'm forever thankful to a great friend who had just graduated from BYU-H and called me to see if I wanted to drive home to Alaska with him. I needed the road trip and company of my best friend to help me start moving, thinking and feeling again.
