She graduated from BYU and has been a cougar football fan all her life (hence, the sports category). Her dad played for BYU in the early 40s. The records aren’t great from that era, but they called him “Popcorn Driggs.” He played wide receiver. I can recall her screaming at the TV when BYU was losing all growing up.

Unfortunately, she contracted pneumonia this past summer and it has ravaged her body with infection due to some severe complications. She has been on the edge of Sepsis and has several tubes plunging through her body trying to pull the infection out. Two 12 inch incisions along with several other incisions. The prognosis is not good.

Terribly hard to see her this way. To be honest, I am not sure how to handle it. Hope BYU wins this Saturday as it could be her last game to watch.
