At least on a semi-consistent basis. For whatever reason, Whit just owns BYU. He's been giving us fits ever since he became Utah's defensive coordinator in 1994. It's no coincidence that Utah has been 16-7 against us since then. He just knows how to beat BYU. After Whit retires, Utah will probably hire a head coach who's either a non-member or an out of stater. There's a good chance he won't "get" the rivalry or else he'll choose to place more emphasis on the Pac-12 games. Or he simply might not be as a good of a coach as Whittingham.
Either way I think BYU will start winning their fair share of rivalry games after Whittingham's gone.
