It was senior night and after most of the players from both teams had left the field, BYU setup a little stage thing to do it's senior blanket presentation thing. But Utah's band wouldn't stop playing. They just kept playing their fight song over and over and over right through the presentation.
The PA guy once even started talking and then stopped, thinking their band would get the hint and quit. But they wouldn't. They just started up again. Eventually BYU just had to honor their seniors with a barely audible PA announcer because utah's band just would not stop playing "Utah man."
I don't really dislike Utah as a University. It's a pretty darn good state school that admits lots of people because that's what state schools should do. Good for them. And, unlike Utah State, the school for the most part has kept it pretty classy with regards to BYU. Especially in the social media age. I really think they have.
But that was a really bush league move and it still kind of pisses me off to this day.
