His piano recital. So after 28 years since I quit lessons, and a third grade level of experience, I practiced up and we had our recital this morning.

And. I. Flopped. Holy crap. I hit the wrong key once and it threw the entire song off. I scrambled through the entire song looking like a total bafoon. Even my third grader gave me the look of “what the $&”” was that?”

Now I remember why I quit piano and hated it. Moral of the story- don’t support your kids. dont go out of your way to get involved in their lives. Just stick to what you’re good at- talking to internet friends on CB.
