football IQ is very underrated
2 of our best MLBs in the last 15 years were not particularly athletic but usually knew where they needed to be to shut down the play.
I refer specifically to Cam Jansen and Ogletree.

I like his blocking. Can he play TE? Is he still 215lbs?

I would have liked to have seen more highlights of him getting back into zone coverage.

Sheds blockers well. We could use someone with that skill.

According to the NCAA, you're right about Florida but wrong about Texas

I could name many Utah HS grads that could have played anywhere

Per capita, Utah can compete with almost any state in terms of overall D1 offers.

Other thing I would say is different states likely excel at putting D-1 kids in at different positions

He's not even really linebacker size. He would need to put on another 20 to 30 pounds to play that effectively.
monkeycowboy
12/4/18 9:16am
To play LB at the FBS level he needs 15+ lbs minimum and to get faster.
molodyets
12/4/18 9:38am
Or at least not get slower. A 4.6 40 isnt terrible
monkeycowboy
12/4/18 9:45am
For a DE that would be top end NFL speed. He doesn't run a 4.6
molodyets
12/4/18 9:59am
Yeah he does he has been timed at Several Camps and runs a legit 4.6
CarolinaCoug
12/4/18 7:32pm
Then why is he not playing WR or even TE with that height and weight and speed combo? No hand skills or what?
