The thought is more athletic people at a more athletic position are that fast. Sure he is big and will block but i dont
care what level you are at if he has that speed you dont stick him on the O line or D line for that matter.
His speed is suspect as is the level of competition and measureables. BYU had him at their camp and if they didnt offer they didnt offer. Same thing goes for UAB. The fact that he has those measurables and is in Bamas back yard and havent given him a look says something.
Go ahead and pester the coaches if you want but this is more a case of proud dad rather than diamond in the rough (and we're talking way way rough)

He's not even really linebacker size. He would need to put on another 20 to 30 pounds to play that effectively.
