Know Your Enemy pop quiz: I just came into possession of a vintage Ute jacket
that has "Utah Basketball" embroidered on the left breast in large letters (not sure, but it certainly seems likely to be a player's campus jacket), surrounding the drum-and-feather logo. The "U" inside the drum is not the block U that has been used for decades, but is instead the stylized U that bulges out in the center to a point on both sides. So here's the question: During what era in Utah athletics was that U used?

Asking for a friend who recently came into possession of a vintage Ute jacket.
