Win/loss is less important than butts in seats and T.V. eyeballs.
Though our attendance numbers are down (like everyone else) we are still perennially in the top 3 in the west for attendance. And we fill seats were ever we travel to. Compare that to a school like Rutgers, for example. The B10 added Rutgers to get the NYC market, even though no one there cares.
