I wouldn’t be so sure about that...depression can be a terrible, terrible thing. I know people who take joy in knowing

their loved one is no longer suffering in this life. Sure they miss them and wish they were here and healthy, but seeing how difficult life was for them, knowing they’re no longer suffering can help ease the pain a parent feels for the loss of their child.

And let me be clear - I agree suicide is preventable, and nothing can fully ease the pain a parent has for a child that has left this world sooner than necessary.
