I'm more of a clean-as-you go type and my wife is the clean-all-once type.
It has caused a bit of minor friction over the years, but we have found a happy medium.
The problem I have with clean all at once is that you can have a messy home for 23 hours a day.
My thinking is definitely derived from my childhood where my mom would say regarding cleaning-as-you-go, "Would you clean your (rear-end) once a day or do you clean it every time (it is messy)?" [Edited for mods]
