ImuaKahuku Walk-on
I think I might be back to calling him Worthlessington. It's like he is new to

the sport.  Early in last night's game he was blocking out Yoeli.  What?!!!  He got in the way of Haws a couple of times when he was driving in, even colliding once.  When the guard attacks the key you roll somewhere (preferably in front of another big or to an open spot close the rim) other than into the guys path.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is how often our players leave their feet on fakes aka headless chicken D (which often leads to a wide open shot or a foul).  Over that few games I have seen things on D that just make me wonder.  Last night two guys stayed on one guy and not in a double team way leaving a guy open who made the easy shot.  I understand double teaming and how and when to do it so it was in the context of a double team but just two guys guarding the same guy.  Which leads me to one of the most glaring problems in my estimation, COMMUNICATION.  It's like nobody has a clue what anyone else is doing or who is doing what on D.  From what I have seen at times with how they have played, you could write a book on how not to play D

My last thought is start Baxter.  He is going to be a stud if he gets the confidence and experience.  Sitting on the bench he is waisting away.  He needs to be on the floor and learn that he is a great player.  I say "is" because he has shown all the skills of a great player but as the season has progressed he seems to come in looking tentative and almost scared.  No moxy, no attitude, no fire to dominate.  It was there at the start of the season but not now.  And Lee needs more time too.  I really like Harding, Lee, and Baxter.  Those are some pretty good players but only Harding is playing like all three should.

Lastly, I would also prefer Emery over Cannon starting.  Emery brings excitement to the team when he is on the court.  He is their emotional leader like it or not.  Cannon is a great player but I would have him come in around 4 minutes in to rest either Emery or Haws and protect them from fouls.  Last night they talked how the coach started him for his D.  I know the effort is there but I dont see near as much results as what Emery makes on D.  (Jackson, you need to give Nick a little more instruction on how to foul without getting called for a foul).

This is my 2 cents for what it's worth (with inflation I'm sure less than two cents 🙂 )
