I know the general rule is .3 seconds or it has to be tip or a dunk or something like that.
regardless, I see the clock at .1 with the ball off his finger.

I think that by rule a shot .3 or less is not technically allowed.

Doesn’t matter. By rule a player can’t catch and shoot a ball if inbounded
