I have a couple of trees I want to take down and they are in places where felling them won't be too difficult. Rather than pay some outfit $1,000, I think I want to buy a chainsaw and do it myself. I back up to the woods, so I can toss a lot of the small branches down there (otherwise I might buy a chipper too - anyone use a chipper much?)

I don't need anything huge (smaller is easier to handle too), want something pretty maintenance free, reliable, will start up easily in two years when I need it again, etc. Also, the best place to buy it. Looking for value on both counts.
