Given the wealth of the city, I thought they should do a lot better.

Full disclosure - I think Switzerland is a bit boring on many levels. During the four trips I have made to Switzerland, I always end up thinking that if I was in France, Italy, Germany or Austria, I would be seeing something I like better, paying significantly less and eating better food. I'm just not a Switzerland fan, and really don't find the people all that warm or accommodating either.
