Yes. A husband and wife can combine gifts as well. If you're gifting to
another married couple, a husband and wife can gift $60,000 on 12/31, then repeat it again on 1/1.
We use the annual gift exclusion all the time in this way. To make it even better, we'll make the gift in a way where you can discount the value of the gift so you can give more than the 15k (FLP usually)
