Can I borrow against the holdings in my IRA?
Is this even allowable under the law?
I have a decent chunk of change in an IRA, that I wouldn't mind using as collateral on a loan for other purposes - mostly short term real estate deals.
I guess I could just do a self-directed IRA and use that money as the "loan," but I'm not sure I want to do that.
