This should be a team with Emery, Mika and Bryant as seniors. It was how Rose built his roster, But ttwo of them left early, and the 3rd has had some personal struggles that have hurt his career.

I just see a lack of talent as the readon for BYU's struggles, eepecially this year. Outside of Haws, and Yo, I don't see enough there to compete for the #2 spot er even begin to challenge Gonzaga for #1. I do think Harding and Baxter have really high ceilings but they are both just home from missions and are still finding their basketball legs. Harding looked like he might avoid that, but he's come back to earth some. Baxter is an athlete but he's raw and does not posess the honed basketball skills to come in and just dominate. Even in high school he was just the best athlete on the court and so he dominated. Both will be good, but they're not there yet.

Missions are so important for a young man's spiritual growth, but man they really do not do an athlete any favors.

What the starting 5 this year should have been. Mika, Childs, Bryant, Haws, Emery. Bench...Harding, Baxter, Hardnet, Cannon, Bergeson, Worthington.

that would have been a pretty tough team.
