This keeps getting worse. Official on the sideline (apparently) thought that the
ball was tipped. Wouldn't that aspect of the play be reviewable (i.e. whether or not it was tipped)?
This whole thing could have been avoided:
OFFICIAL #1 (to sideline official): So, no PI on that one?
SIDELINE OFFICIAL: Nope. Ball was tipped.
OFFICIAL #1: Hmm. Did anyone else see the ball tipped? ... anyone? ... No ... OK, let's review whether or not it was tipped.
(NOTE: All of this assumes that you could review whether or not the ball was tipped. I'm pretty sure I've seen that done before)
