No, but I think a lot of people when called to positions like this tend to stay out of a sense of duty. I know I would
feel that way, but at the same time it wouldn't be totally binding either.
We just had our Stake President changed after the past one was released after a little over 2 years. He retired and moved to St George. But he had also told the visiting General Authorities when he was called that he would probably be moving in 2 years and they said 'no problem'.
