BYU was rushing for over 7 yards per carry as a total offense with Unga running for over 10 yards a carry.
Max Hall missed throwing it to open receivers multiple times instead of trying to force the ball into tight windows.
BYU was very hard to predict where the ball was going seeing as Unga, Collie, Pitta, Reed, and George were all very good D1 talents.
Plus having gone back to watch all 6 turnovers, only 1 out of the 6 (Kruger's interception) at all look like the defense knew what was coming, most of them look like a solid defensive effort led by 7 defensive players who were drafted in the NFL the next 2 years.
I dont know about you guys, but this OP story sounds fake. The reason we lost that game was our star QB who had been amazing and led us to a 20-1 record in the past 21 games played a poor game and our coaches for some reason didn't stick with the run game when it was gaining 7.1 ypc. That and lets face it, Utah's team in 2008 was a very good team that went on to not only win the sugar bowl, but they beat the snot out of Alabama.
