they usually are coming out of some type of sports academy(which are very structured and controlled) or something. They are way more BYU ready for that reason than your average US player. And these guys are looking for opportunities period. Acting like BYU doesn't have any appeal to them is simply wrong. We just signed two, and the Russian kid would've come over if he didn't have language issues. College ball is the dream because most of these countries don't even have systems like that, but probably not any teams specifically beyond those golden names.....because these guys don't even watch college ball growing up for the most part. Many are happy to play at JCs and stuff.
