The guy who just got called to be bishop of my ward used to wear linen pants, colored shirts, and bow ties. As bishop he wears at least a sport jacket and white shirt, but still goes with a bow tie sometimes. He's a good guy and a good bishop. Appearance doesn't define a person. It's a lesson that we can learn and teach within the Church.
