One big difference: science supports the fear of flying but not fear of vaccines
You can absolutely die in a plane crash. We know gravity can pull a plane down towards the Earth if something goes wrong, and we know that the human body does not fare well when it hits the ground at 300 mph. The odds of that happening are very low, but it *does* happen. And, from a scientific standpoint, we can easily understand why.

On the other hand, scientific evidence tells us that vaccines *never* cause autism. It is absolutely *not* possible. It is also known that the chemicals used in vaccines are not significantly toxic to the body in such small quantities. Both of these concepts are very well established by science.

There is a big difference between fear of something that actually might happen (although rare) vs. fear of something that is known to be absolutely impossible.
