I had never heard of Puka Nacua until yesterday, so I looked up his stats:

Ranked by ESPN as the 298th best recruit for 2019
Ranked by ESPN as no. 42 WR nationally.
Looks like a solid player. Saw he was coached by Ross Apo. But, he doesn't really jump out at me as some sort of elite talent. Not a huge guy, nor does he have elite speed.
Is he just an amazing route runner, or something? Amazing athlete? I guess I can see how he would be a great pickup, but sort of seems a bit overhyped on Cougarboard (maybe the Utah County "all star" angle?)
Is this kid going to be an all american at Washington or something?

I've watched him in person a few times. He was a very good HS player. I think he'll be a good college receiver

He is the highest ranked recruit out of Utah this year and his bro is a BYU legend. Makes sense that we followed him.
