This isn’t so much about science as it is about people lack of an ability to see
bad evidence for what it is.

Flat earthers, anti-vaxxers, those who believe or disbelieve evolution and climate change, essential oils, essential oils, gmo’s, gluten free-ism without celiac, etc, are all presented with evidence to support a view. Many cannot identify the difference between good information and a bad information.

We think NASA, Einstein physics, every university across the planet, satellites, space x, kids with weather balloons and gopros, all coming up with the same answer = Jenny McCarthy, Facebook, and a few alternative medicine doctors who do no research and can’t show a legitimate study, much less many legitimate studies, verifying what they claim, etc. are equal in value of trusted sources of knowledge.

I’m not even saying the good sources can’t ever be wrong. I just don’t understand why you’d put so much stock in a bad source if you won’t consider the good ones. Maybe it’s just that being a troll is fun for a lot of people.
