My son has severe epilepsy, and my wife and I were the primary plowhorses behind
Utah's successful 2014 CBD legislation. Our bill cleared the path for a *scientific* study (including my son) of the efficacy of CBD oil on people with intractable epilepsy, and that study confirmed PROFOUND benefits for sufferers of Dravet Syndrome, Lennox-Gastaut, Angelman Syndrome, etc. These are the worst-of-the-worst epilepsy villains, and they are devastating.

Great news, but it's also just the beginning. I am on a first-name basis with legislators, physicians, sufferers and even growers who are party to this debate. And CB wears me out, sometimes, with posters' unwillingness to do a little research before - ironically - dismissing insights offered by others as "uninformed." It's exhausting.
