Even if it were moved off the Schedule I list it would still be radioactive because of it's illegal status. In my opinion, of course.

The main reason why I think it should be legalized is that we have spent billions trying to keep it illegal and the percentage of pot smokers in the country is roughly the same today as it was 40 years ago. That's telling me that like alcohol during the Prohibition Era people are going to use it no matter what the law says; might as well legalize it and tax it.
