Am I the only one that just doesn't taste a lot of variability in Mexican food
restaurants in the US? I'm excluding fast food here. To me, nearly every Mexican restaurant I have eaten at in the US is extremely similar in quality and taste. They nearly all have very similar menu items. You have enchiladas, tacos, chimichangas etc. You can choose ground beef, shredded beef, or chicken. And I nearly always enjoy what I eat. It doesn't matter if it's a Mexican restaurant in Salt Lake or St. George or if it's an allegedly "authentic" restaurant in Las Vegas, San Antonio or San Diego.
